Our original bonito shaver uses premium blue paper steel (Aogami) for an edge that stays sharp. Compared with the Classic Box blade, it is said to offer a smoother, gentler cut. The paulownia box has beautiful grain and helps balance moisture. Five grooves on the lid evoke a musical staff; our fourth-generation owner applies the Kaneshichi brand by hand. Slightly larger than the Classic Box for a stable shaving experience.
